Office Manager, Patient & Finance Administration
Caroline joined our team on the 1st October 2010 as the Office Manager, following an 18 year career in cardiology at both the Hull Royal Infirmary and the Spire Hospital Hull and East Riding.
She is qualified in all secretarial procedures and also holds NVQ qualifications in management, customer service and also is a qualifed NVQ assessor.
Her role at the Unit is varied and includes finance duties, CCG contact and funding approval for placement on the waiting list. She is the patient information and website co-ordinator and also the administration contact for the storage of embryos, semen and oncology.
The team of administration staff is the first point of contact for patients using the Hull IVF Unit for treatments and investigations and Caroline takes great pride in the team being customer facing and focused and being the contacts for a variety of customer led enquiries.
Senior Secretary & Patient Administration
Karen joined our team in August 2000, following a career as a medical secretary/administrator in a GP surgery.
Karen's duties at the Hull IVF Unit are varied and include drug ordering and stock control, funding and reporting, accounts and general queries regarding treatment and investigation. Karen's main interest at the Unit is the counselling service and she is the customer-focused lead for both patients requiring this service and the counsellors for diary and appointment management.
Medical Secretary & Patient Administration
Roxanne joined our team in August 2006 following a 2 year career as a secretary in law.
As well as being the Unit secretary, Roxanne's role is varied and includes day to day case note management, private patient consultation bookings and diary management, invoicing and suppporting the office manager with various administrative tasks. Roxanne is a customer focused team member who enjoys liaising with patients with regards their appointments and queries.
Emily joined our team in January 2014. Emily's role is varied and includes reception duties, day to day case note management, private patient consultation bookings and diary management, and suppporting the office manager with various administrative tasks. Emily is customer focused and enjoys her reception duties and contact with the patients.
Pam is our newest member of the office team and joined us in November 2015. Pam's role will be very varied and includes reception duties, day to day case note management, private patient consultation bookings and diary management, and supporting the office manager with various administrative tasks. Pam brings a wealth of administrative experience with her and is looking forward to taking on this new role.
Clinic Support Worker
Lisa joined our team in December 2015. She has a wealth of experience within the pharmacy environment having worked within the NHS trust team for 13 years. She is based within the office and nursing teams and helps support these areas by dispensing drugs, photocopying, pulling clinic notes and filing and supporting staff within these teams with a variety of administrative duties.
